With LarynxLock, your team can manage the airway confidently from start to finish: No switch, no stress.
Key benefits of the device
Solves air leakage
Whether in the operating room, pre-hospital, or clinical setting, LarynxLock avoids an unexpected difficult airway.
Easy to use
Acting as your third hand, LarynxLock is a single-use device that can be applied in less than 10 seconds. No advanced training required.
Quick and low-cost
Save procedure time and reduce the costs of material up to 100 Euros.
Safe for patients
Reduce the need for invasive procedures. LarynxLock is applied externally on the patient’s skin with minimal risk.
One-size-fits-all
The pusher and headband are designed to work together to apply the right amount of pressure for all adults, regardless of age or head proportions.
Single use AND eco-friendly, does that match?
The pusher is made of an eco-friendly and biodegradable material, the main ingredient being industrial starch. The advantages of these are:
- Recyclable as a paper product
- Safe, non-toxic, and non-polluting
- Low carbon footprint
- Locally sourced, annually renewable raw materials
Application
Pre-hospital setting (Ambulance)
Supraglottal Airway Device (SAD) is an alternative airway management for cardiac arrest cases (66%) and un-/semi-conscious patients with airway and/or breathing problems. LarynxLock fixes SAD leakage, reducing the need for tracheal intubation or switching the Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA).
Operating room
SADs are frequently used for general anesthesia, with growing preference among anesthesiologists due to their safety and ease of use. However, certain patient groups are at higher risk for SAD leakage. LarynxLock provides a solution for this problem and the patient can be in various positions without risking an unexpected difficult airway.
Sedation case
Procedural sedation refers to techniques performed to help a patient tolerate unpleasant or painful procedures. While sedation may not require breathing assistance, patients may benefit from LarynxLock to maintain airway patency.
One of a kind
LarynxLock is an innovative, patented device with no similar device currently on the market.
CE marking
As a CE-marked Class I medical device, LarynxLock meets all required European safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
